Nurushop — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Nurushop, an online marketplace that connects buyers and product owners. By using Nurushop, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definition of Terms

  • Nurushop – refers to the platform operated by Advent NuruTech, which connects buyers and sellers.
  • Seller or Product Owner – any individual listing and selling items through Nurushop.
  • Buyer – any user purchasing items from a seller through the Nurushop platform.
  • We, Our, Us – refers to Nurushop management.

2. Purpose of Nurushop

Nurushop provides a safe and organized marketplace where:

  • The products of the seller are listed on the platform.
  • Buyers place orders.
  • Nurushop manages communication and payment between both parties.

Nurushop does not manufacture, own, or guarantee the condition of products unless stated otherwise.

3. Payment Process

  1. Buyers send payment directly to the official Nurushop account (product price + delivery fee).
  2. Nurushop confirms payment.
  3. Nurushop transfers the seller’s amount after deducting our commission.
  4. Seller proceeds with delivery of the product to the buyer.

Nurushop does not allow direct buyer-to-seller payment unless authorized.

4. Commission Policy

  • Items below KSh 300: Minimum commission of KSh 20

  • Items KSh 300 and above: 10% commission

Commissions are deducted automatically before sending payment to the seller.

5. Delivery (Parceling) Policy

  • Parceling fees are based on distance and the seller's delivery method.
  • Buyers are informed of the delivery fee before making payment.
  • Delivery is the responsibility of the seller/product owner.
  • Nurushop will confirm the buyer’s exact location before approving delivery.

Nurushop is not responsible for delays caused by weather, transport, or seller schedules.

6. Product Listings

  • Product descriptions must be accurate.
  • Prices must be correct.
  • Items must be available and in good condition.
  • Images used must truly represent the product.

False listings may lead to suspension.

7. Refunds & Returns

  • If the seller fails to deliver after payment, Nurushop refunds the buyer in full.
  • If the buyer receives an item that is completely different from what was advertised, Nurushop reviews the case and decides if a refund or partial refund applies.
  • Parceling/delivery fees are non-refundable once delivery has started.

Refund requests must be made within 24 hours after delivery.

8. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Provide correct delivery details.
  • Make payments only through the official Nurushop account.
  • Inspect items upon delivery.
  • Respect agreed terms with the seller and rider.

Abusive behavior toward sellers or Nurushop staff is not tolerated.

9. Seller Responsibilities

  • Deliver items once payment is confirmed.
  • Communicate clearly about delivery times.
  • Maintain honesty when describing items.
  • Respect agreed commission and payment procedures.

Failure to follow these rules may lead to suspension or removal from Nurushop.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement occurs between a buyer and a seller, Nurushop will act as a mediator. Our decision will prioritize fairness, honesty, and platform integrity.

11. Prohibited Activities

  • Use fake identities.
  • Scam or mislead others.
  • Post illegal, dangerous, or stolen items.
  • Avoid paying agreed commissions.
  • Perform direct sales outside Nurushop to bypass commission.
  • Attack or misuse the platform technically or verbally.

12. Privacy

Nurushop respects your privacy. Your personal information (such as phone number or location) is used only to complete orders and is never sold to third parties. A separate Privacy Policy is available and applies to all users.

13. Suspension or Termination

Nurushop may suspend or terminate any buyer or seller who repeatedly violates the rules, attempts fraud, abuses other users, or misuses the platform.

14. Future Improvements

Nurushop may update features such as direct online payments, seller dashboards, delivery tracking, and automated refunds. By continuing to use the platform, you agree to future system updates.
